Dental x-rays are essential for diagnosing oral health concerns. Digital technology reduces radiation and makes the process faster.
More clarity with less radiation
Our dental clinic in Kelowna is outfitted with the latest in digital x-ray equipment. Dental x-rays are critical for diagnosing issues, such as tooth decay, bone loss, impacted teeth, abscesses and some cancers that can’t be seen with the naked eye. While conventional x-rays are considered safe, our digital sensors use up to 90% less radiation than traditional film.
Quick
Images from digital x-rays show up on the computer screen almost instantly. You don’t have to wait around for the film to be processed.
Precise
The digital sensors we use create sharp, high-definition images. We can enhance the contrast and zoom in and out, helping us catch problems in their earliest stages.
Safe
Our digital x-rays expose patients to significantly less radiation than conventional x-rays. Plus, thanks to the accuracy, fewer retakes are needed.
Environmentally-Friendly
Everything is stored digitally and there are no chemical developers or film used, which is better for the environment. This also means we can easily share x-rays with other providers via email.
