What to expect when getting porcelain veneers
The porcelain veneers procedure starts with an exam. Your Kelowna dentist will use their findings and your diagnostic records to ensure you’re a good candidate for veneers. If you are, they’ll chat with you about your concerns and goals. Then, your dentist will:
- Take digital dental scans to create a 3D model of your mouth. They’ll design your porcelain veneers on the digital model.
- Remove a very thin layer of your enamel and place temporary veneers. This lets you test drive your restorations and make sure you love how they look before we place the permanent ones.
- Work with the dental lab to fabricate your permanent veneers.
- Remove your temporaries and bond your permanent veneers. They’ll shape and polish them before revealing your new smile.
