Dr. Sungjun (Andy) Moon

Dr. Sungjun (Andy) Moon is a skilled general dentist committed to providing high-quality care to his patients. Born in South Korea and raised in Calgary, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Calgary before moving to Edmonton to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with multiple academic achievement scholarships from the University of Alberta.
Upon graduation, Dr. Moon practiced dentistry for underserved populations in Northern Alberta and got involved in the community by volunteering his time routesetting at the local climbing facility. During his many trips to the Okanagan, he always knew that this place was where he wanted to settle down with his wife in pursuit of work-life balance and to enjoy all of the outdoor activities the region has to offer.
By focusing on oral health education and getting patients actively involved in the process, he believes he can help them achieve the best possible treatment outcomes. Come by for a check-up exam, fillings, bonding, root canals, crowns, bridges, or wisdom tooth extractions. For patients and kids that may have dental anxiety or feel more comfortable with receiving care under sedation, both nitrous oxide (laughing gas) or oral sedation can be accommodated.
In his spare time, you can find him rock climbing (ask him about his trips to Squamish, Canmore, Utah, Spain, France, Mexico, Thailand, and more!), hiking, backpacking, skiing, or fine-tuning his morning cup of coffee.
